Flyinge
Flyinge was founded in 1661 and it is situated in the south of Sweden near the city of Lund. Flyinge is the largest and best-known breeding station in Sweden and one of the world's oldest active National studs dating back to the 12th century. There are about 170 full time students in four educational programmes; upper secondary school programme in equine studies and natural science, a vocational training programme for the education of young horses, a farrier training programme, and in cooperation with Strömsholm and the Swedish University of Agriculture a two year university programme in equine studies. There are four indoor arenas and stables for about 200 horses.
Flyinge is the site for many yearly events in dressage, show jumping and breeding.
